In May 2006 Loos, alongside James Hewitt, appeared in The X Factor: Battle of the Stars in which she famously received a negative reception from one of the judges, Sharon Osbourne and the show's audience alike. Sharon Osbourne publicly humiliated her after one of her performances saying, "You should try doing tomorrow's performance with your knickers on, because it will help warm up your voice... You have a very bad vibe that comes from you... you have nice boobs, though, you've had a very nice boob job." The pair were voted out in the 4th (out of 8) shows on 1 June 2006. In October 2006, she met and got together with former All Black and New Zealand Rugby League player, Matthew Ridge during the filming of New Zealand television show Celebrity Treasure Island, and in February of the next year was caught performing fellatio on him underneath a blanket in business class on a flight from Los Angeles to London
